Solharo Tension Retractable Awnings System for Patio Areas & Greenhouses

This unique external shading system gives protection against intense heat on hot, sunny days.

This motorized system is attractively styled with a standard hood which protects the fabric. The fabric always remains tautly stretched even in the horizontal position.

Designed specifically for sunrooms, the Solharo Tension System can be mounted on beams or a truss system. The Solharo is completely self-storing with its own hood and cassette. The spring is built into the front bar, balancing the tension between the two tracks, ensuring the fabric will not snag while the system is extended or retracted.

Motor operated with a 110 volt tubular motor set in the roller tube which is internally heat protected.

Two types of fabric are generally used. One is 100% acrylic fabric such as Sunbrella or Dickson Constant. This type of fabric will not fade or mildew and is rot resistant and allows some light to penetrate. The other is a woven vinyl polyester mesh such as Phifertex or Awntex. This fabric has excellent ventilation properties and permits a view of the outside (only available in solid colors).
